CAAHEP Workshop: Teaching the Unthinkable
Come learn about teaching Emergency Preparedness from the AMA, Nova Southeastern University and others.
Teaching the Unthinkable is a CAAHEP workshop especially for Program Directors, Faculty and Administrators of Health Sciences Education Programs -- an opportunity to catch up with the latest developments in emergency preparedness and to think carefully about how to teach entry-level students about this development. Learn from experts and from other conference attendees!

The workshop agenda includes examples of existing training efforts and curricula -- including the AMA's NATIONAL DISASTER LIFE SUPPORT PROGRAM and Nova Southeastern University's DISASTER PREPAREDNESS PROGRAM that serves students in 7 professions.
CAAHEP is supplying each workshop attendee with a personal copy of the first (and only) textbook in this emerging field: EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS FOR HEALTH PROFESSIONALS.
